Floor Technician - Riley - Full Time Days

Job Summary
Maintain, strip, wax, and deep clean diverse flooring types including VCT, terrazzo, tile, and carpet throughout the facility using advanced equipment such as auto-scrubbers, burnishers, and carpet extractors. Coordinate with clinical and Environmental Services teams to minimize disruption, ensure proper signage, and adhere to safety and infection prevention protocols. Execute daily maintenance schedules, conduct basic repairs, and report conditions requiring advanced attention while operating within rotating weekend and holiday shifts. Requires an Indiana driver's license, proof of insurance, and successful completion of a floor care competency assessment.
Required Qualifications

- ability to use floor care equipment, including but not limited to: auto-scrubbers, buffers, burnishers, and carpet extractors
- ability to wear protective equipment and clothing in accordance with hospital policy and regulatory requirements
- ability to stand for extended periods

- ability to squat
- ability to climb ladders
- ability to lift or carry 50 lbs. or more
