Job Summary
Maintain all floors through daily scrubbing, stripping, and refinishing of various surface types while emptying trash and ensuring entrance ways remain clean. Follow standard cleaning procedures safely, check stock levels, and notify supervisors of supplies used. Keep equipment in good working condition and return it to proper storage after use. Complete all assignments as scheduled under direct supervision, prioritizing customer service and family needs in a caring atmosphere. Provide annual verification of a negative TB skin test. Work full-time shifts from 8 PM to 4:30 AM.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write and understand the English language
- Good physical condition
- Working knowledge of standard materials, techniques and equipment used in housekeeping activities
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to positively interact with personnel, customers, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public
- Provide annual verification of a negative TB skin test
Desired Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent is preferred
