Job Summary
Operate floor care equipment such as auto-scrubbers, floor machines, and burnishers to complete projects including bonneting, encapsulation, stripping, waxing, crystallization, and grout cleaning. Work individually or as part of a two-person team to clean carpets, tile, VCT, granite, and terrazzo surfaces, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and emptying trash cans. Act as a backup to fill in for absent cleaners and perform duties as required by local management. Travel between client locations in the northeast Indianapolis and Carmel areas during evening shifts from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to effectively and positively communicate with fellow employees/supervision
- Prompt and very consistent attendance
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to perform duties with limited communication while in client areas
- Good physical health
- Ability to walk throughout the evening
- Ability to operate larger floor care equipment
- Ability to move heavier loads (up to 50lbs.)
- Driver's license
- Reliable transportation to get to/from work
- Availability for evening shift (Monday through Friday starting at 5:00PM until about 11:00PM)
- Willingness to be trained on floor tech duties
