Job Summary
Maintain flooring throughout the building via daily dust mopping, weekly scrubbing of halls, and quarterly stripping, waxing, and buffing of VCT. Vacuum carpets daily, scrub showers and baths monthly, and damp clean walls and baseboards quarterly. Manage trash removal twice daily, clean trash cans monthly, and perform seasonal tasks including window cleaning and exterior porch maintenance. Assist with loading and unloading materials. Perform other duties as assigned. Requires high school graduation, ability to read manuals, and knowledge of safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or graduate of a technical school
- Ability to read and interpret manuals
- Knowledge of safety regulations
- Knowledge of supplies and equipment used by department and the care of this equipment
- Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with patients
