Job Summary
Floor Technician responsible for day-to-day housekeeping and floor maintenance in a healthcare facility. Duties include washing, sealing, waxing, and buffing all floors; performing maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and cleaning vents; cleaning and disinfecting fixtures and surfaces; coordinating with residents, nurses, physicians, and staff to address environmental services requests; ensuring safe, clean, and sanitary conditions; operating cleaning equipment and replenishing supplies; following prescribed schedules and safety practices; and supporting the housekeeping/laundry department as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Highschool diploma or equivalency preferred
- One year’s work experience in a commercial establishment with knowledge of laundry/housekeeping procedures
