Job Summary
Floor Technician (Full Time) responsible for general maintenance and repairs for flooring and related facilities, including cleaning and maintaining various floor types, polishing, waxing, and buffing floors, operating floor care equipment (scrubbers, sweepers), monitoring inventory of cleaning supplies, and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of commercial/janitorial cleaning experience; must communicate in English and/or Spanish; ability to follow PPE safety guidelines; proficient with floor care equipment (burnishers, scrubbers, vacuums) and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial or janitorial cleaning is mandatory
- Basic knowledge of floor types and their relevant cleaning needs is essential
- Be able to communicate in English, and or Spanish
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and use PPE when necessary
- Proficient in the use of cleaning, polishing, and scrubbing equipment, including floor care equipment such as burnishers, scrubbers, and vacuums
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
