Job Summary
Perform cleaning, buffing, and bonneting procedures to maintain floors while executing stripping and extraction projects as assigned. Adhere strictly to HHS cleaning procedures and best practices, providing friendly service to all individuals in the hospital. Assist team members and management to help the department operate efficiently. This role requires standing, walking, squatting, bending, and lifting furniture up to 100 lb. continuously throughout the shift, including handling chemicals like bleach and disinfectants. Applicants must be at least 17 years old, pass a background check and drug screen, and communicate effectively in English. Join a team supporting healthcare and other industries across the U.S.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 17 years old
- Communicate effectively in English
- Work well in a team environment
- Practice good personal hygiene
- Be neatly groomed
- Be in uniform
- Must handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectants
- Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
- Must pass a background check
- Must pass a drug screen
- Provide proof of employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, twist, kneel, and reach continuously throughout a shift
- Must be able to push, pull, and lift furniture and equipment (25 – 100 lb.) frequently
- Must be able to push and pull carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift
