Job Summary
Monitor assigned areas and corridors for cups, spills, paper, and debris. Clean corners, edges, and baseboards; dust mop hard floors, removing marks and scuffs. Damp mop floors with proper chemicals or use scrubbing machines. Utilize floor machines for project work, including burnishing, scrubbing, and stripping as directed. Perform related duties such as area cleaning and waste disposal. Work Sunday through Thursday first shift at North Knoxville Medical Center earning $16.00 hourly. Full vaccination required; experience in janitorial or medical cleaning is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
- Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses
