Job Summary
Clean all floors by sweeping and mopping common areas, dining rooms, hallways, and kitchens. Empty trash cans and dispose of waste in the correct location. Vacuum hallways within the facility and manage trash routes. Perform light maintenance and create order forms for needed repairs. Use cleaning floor machines as required. Wear personal protective equipment such as gloves, gowns, and facemasks as situations dictate. Work Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Stones River Manor, a faith-based senior living community in Murfreesboro, TN.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass drug screening and background check
- Ability to speak, read, comprehend and write in English
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to residents and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- The employee is required to regularly walk, use hands, talk, or hear
- The employee is required to regularly reach with hands and arms
- The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- The employee is required to regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Required to wear personal protective equipment, such as gloves, gowns and facemasks, as the situation requires
- Monday - Friday 2p-10p
Desired Qualifications
