Job Summary
Sweep, dust mop, wet mop, and clean floors daily while stripping, waxing, sealing, and buffing hard surfaces like VCT and terrazzo. Extract and shampoo carpets, maintain grout and baseboards, and identify damage for reporting. Operate auto scrubbers, buffers, and extractors, adhering to chemical dilution ratios and safety data sheet guidelines. Set up safety signage, wear required PPE, and report hazards immediately per OSHA protocols. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and driving to multiple locations within the service area.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English or Spanish
- Ability to communicate effectively and be understood, including the ability to hear and comprehend instructions in English
- Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance
Desired Qualifications
- Previous floor care or janitorial experience preferred
