Floor Technician – Environmental Services (EVS)

Perform floor care services, including stripping, waxing, buffing, burnishing, scrubbing, and refinishing of hard-surface floors. Clean and maintain carpeted areas using extraction and spot-cleaning equipment. Operate and maintain floor care equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Assist with general housekeeping duties, including cleaning patient rooms, common areas, offices, restrooms, hallways, and public spaces as needed. Complete discharge cleaning and room setup when assigned. Ensure all assigned areas are maintained in accordance with facility cleanliness, safety, and infection prevention standards. Transport and store supplies and equipment appropriately. Provide excellent customer service while interacting with patients, visitors, and staff. Inspect floors and surfaces regularly and report maintenance concerns to leadership. Follow all organizational policies, safety procedures, and environmental services standards.
