Job Summary
Sweep, mop, buff, strip, and wax hard surface floors to maintain cleanliness and appearance. Operate floor care equipment including buffers, burnishers, and auto scrubbers while following all safety procedures when handling chemicals. Clean and maintain equipment after each use and report any maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor. Requires previous floor care experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and working independently with minimal supervision. This Full-Time role offers paid vacation, paid holidays, and supplemental insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Previous floor care experience
- Proven ability to operate floor equipment (buffers, burnishers, scrubbers)
- Knowledge of proper floor care techniques, including stripping and waxing
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, and perform repetitive motions
