Job Summary
Deliver best-in-class cleaning and restoration services on commercial surfaces including carpet, tile, vinyl, and stone. Execute routine inspections and maintenance activities for facility floors and carpets while following shift directions and safety guidelines. Prepare for jobs by gathering equipment, loading and unloading vehicles, and maintaining cleanliness of tools and inventory. Facilitate preventive maintenance on custodial machinery and stock supplies. Overnight travel within the United States may be required to assist other teams or attend specialized training events.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED)
- Ability to work independently with little to no direct supervision
- Ability to handle cleaning equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Excellent written, oral, and customer service skills
- Willingness to learn new skills and train others
- Attention to detail
- Basic computer skills to be able to access timecards, training, and employment information
- Ability to multi-task
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Prior janitorial work experience
- Prior experience as a floor technician
- Experience in cleaning and restoring floor coverings such as carpet, tile, vinyl
