Job Summary
Performs day-to-day housekeeping and maintenance in accordance with current standards and as directed by supervisor. Responsible for total floor care including washing, sealing, waxing and buffing of floors; performs maintenance tasks such as light bulb replacement and cleaning vents and lint; cleans and disinfects fixtures, windows, doors, and furnishings; supports environmental services and coordinates with residents, nurses, physicians, and staff; ensures rooms and areas are clean, sanitary, and ready; operates cleaning equipment and adheres to schedules; may perform additional duties as assigned
