Job Summary
Conduct daily housekeeping duties including dry mopping, wet mopping, sweeping, stripping, and refinishing floors. Push, pull, and lift cleaning supplies and equipment while maintaining janitor closet cleanliness and ensuring mops are sanitized after each use. Store equipment in designated areas and report supply needs for replenishment. Perform emergency housekeeping as required and adhere to facility safety rules regarding dust and disinfecting solutions. Work full-time, time and a half for holidays, Monday through Friday with every other weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to push, pull, and lift cleaning supplies and equipment
- Must be available for day shifts Monday through Friday
- Must be available for every other weekend shifts
- Must be able to work holidays
- Must be able to work on feet most of the time
- Must be able to dry mop, wet mop, and sweep
- Must be able to perform emergency housekeeping as needed
- Must be able to strip and refinish floors as needed
- Must be able to keep janitor closets neat and clean
- Must be able to keep mops and other supplies clean after each use
- Must be able to store equipment in proper areas
- Must be able to report supply and equipment needs for replenishing
- Must be able to adhere to safety rules of the facility
- Must be able to utilize proper care and use of equipment
