Job Summary
Perform floor care functions including waxing, stripping, buffing, tile, carpet, and brick maintenance. Operate motorized cleaning equipment and maintain daily upkeep of assigned areas using appropriate chemicals and supplies. Comply with safety rules, stop risk behaviors, and report hazards while wearing required personal protective equipment. Fill in during staff shortages in custodial, recycle, or maintenance roles. Work Mon-Fri from 5:00pm to 1:30am earning $17.25-$18.25 per hour. Complete safety and task training certifications and maintain a professional appearance and conduct.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Complete all safety and task training certification
- May be required to be forklift certified
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
- Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- 6 mo-1 year experience preferred: or equivalent combination of education and experience
