Job Summary
Perform assigned floor care functions including waxing, stripping, buffing, and tile, carpet, and brick maintenance. Operate motorized cleaning equipment and chemicals safely while maintaining a clean work area. Stop risk behaviors, report hazards, and fill in during staff shortages in custodial, recycle, or maintenance. Work Monday through Friday from 5pm to 9pm at $16.00-$17.00 per hour. Valid driver's license and forklift certification may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Complete all safety and task training certification
- May be required to be forklift certified
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
- Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- 6 mo-1 year experience preferred: or equivalent combination of education and experience
