Job Summary
Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures for floor care (stripping, refinishing, burnishing); operates floor care equipment for cleaning large floor areas; shampoos and extracts carpets, performs spot cleaning and vacuuming; conducts maintenance/restorative processes for all floor surface types; ensures floor care equipment is disinfected after use; adheres to safety procedures while handling cleaning solutions; may perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred
- Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
- Must be able to follow safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
- Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to be at work on time and at varying times of day/night
- Must be able to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision or other employee assistance
- Must provide a criminal background check
