Job Summary
Floor Tech Lead supervises and guides Floor Technicians in floor and carpet care for commercial properties, leads special floor/carpet care projects to ensure timely completion while maintaining MasterCorp Commercial Services quality standards. Responsibilities include training and supervising technicians, ensuring timesheets are completed, performing dust mopping, buffing, scrubbing, waxing, carpet extraction and shampooing, reporting maintenance issues, addressing damaged or stained carpets, and maintaining a safe work environment. Requires leadership experience in floor care, a proven work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to work irregular hours with travel between sites. Starting pay $23-$25/hour with paid training, benefits, and growth opportunities; scheduled shifts include evenings and some weekend coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of successful experience in floor care
- Experience effectively leading janitorial or floor care associates preferred
- A passion for cleanliness
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to learn and change behavior
- Work irregular hours
- Overnight travel – Rarely; Daily travel – Frequently between job sites
