Job Summary
Perform floor care duties including buffing, stripping, waxing, scrubbing, burnishing, and refinishing hard surface floors while operating and maintaining equipment safely. Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, or equipment issues promptly. Assist with general housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed, supporting department initiatives that enhance cleanliness, safety, and resident satisfaction. Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned. Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Excellent teamwork and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday
- Ability to work in an environment with cleaning chemicals, floor care equipment, and varying noise levels
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent work experience
- Previous floor care or housekeeping experience is preferred but not required
