Job Summary
Clean all floor areas of the facility in a professional manner, targeting approximately 4,500 to 5,000 square feet within one hour. Mop, sweep, scrub, and strip floors while applying sealers and finishes to restore a high-gloss appearance. Perform routine vacuuming in traffic areas, spot clean carpets using extraction and bonneting methods, and ensure hallways remain clear of carts and equipment. Maintain hard floors without buildup in corners, polish traffic areas with buffing products, and keep all cleaning equipment clean and operational. Work the third shift, including holidays and weekends, while reporting safety hazards and ensuring custodial closets remain locked with signed keys. Lock and unlock doors, turn off lights in unoccupied rooms, and complete additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
- Must be able to communicate and understand English
- Ability to understand written and verbal instructions
- Apply common sense understanding to follow instructions that were provided
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
