Job Summary
Perform all assigned floor maintenance tasks in a professional and timely manner, including stripping and waxing VCT tiles, burnishing floors with a high-speed machine, and extracting and bonneting carpets. Utilize appropriate chemicals and supplies strictly according to policy and procedure while observing all safety precautions and reporting identified hazards. Support the janitorial program with other duties as assigned, demonstrating the ability to work with little supervision. This Full-Time 1st Shift position occasionally requires travel and reports to the Project Manager. A background check is required.
Required Qualifications
- Willing to Train
- Must be able to strip/wax VCT tiles
- Must know how to burnish floors with a High Speed
- Must be able to extract and bonnet carpets
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Reports safety hazards when identified
- Must be able to pass background check
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for 1st Shift
- Must be available for 2nd Shift
- Travel is required occasionally

- Experience operating Drying Fan
- Experience operating Walk Behind scrubber
