Job Summary
Provide compassionate, friendly, and professional customer service to patients and caregivers by assisting with cannabis recommendations, product selection, and intake processes. Maintain thorough product knowledge, answer inquiries promptly, and ensure patient confidentiality while following state regulatory requirements and safety guidelines. Manage daily operations including opening and closing procedures, floor zoning, inventory, cash handling, and staff management. Lead the team in seed-to-sale tracking systems and complete required state-mandated training programs. Work on-site in our Cumberland, MD dispensary from 9am to 9pm, seven days a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet age requirements by state as determined by the Department of Health or State Regulatory Commission
- Must be flexible regarding work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- At least one (1) year of supervisory or leadership experience
- At least one (1) year of customer service, retail, or related experience preferred
- Cannabis experience a plus
- Must be able to stand constantly
- Must be able to walk frequently
- Must be able to reach and twist/turn with hands and arms
- Must be able to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must have close vision
- Must have distance vision
- Must have color vision
- Must have peripheral vision
- Must have depth perception
- Must have the ability to focus
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Desired Qualifications
- At least one (1) year of customer service, retail, or related experience preferred
- Cannabis experience a plus
