Job Summary
Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas for cleanliness, bed and bathroom linens, and closet conditions while adhering to ZMC Hotels standards. Report equipment problems, unexpected vacant rooms, and any items failing brand standards to the Executive Housekeeper. Update room status in the computer system and assist housekeepers as needed. Respond to guest requests courteously and maintain confidentiality regarding financial status and guest information. Perform fire alarm and evacuation procedures as required. Work the majority of the shift standing and lifting up to 30 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Highly organized
- Must be able to work the majority of the shift in a standing position, constantly moving, and able to lift 30 pounds
- Strong Guest Service Skills
- Must have attention to detail and be customer service oriented
- Ability to communicate satisfactorily with guests, management, and co-workers
