Job Summary
Greet customers, answer inquiries, and assist with product locations while maintaining daily store operations including merchandising, display presentation, and inventory monitoring. Create and implement worklists for associates, train new staff on systems and procedures, and assume Store Manager duties when scheduled. Open and close the store, lead meetings, manage radio communications, and perform cleaning tasks such as vacuuming and trash replacement. Maintain comprehensive product knowledge for Coastal Farm merchandise and adapt to shifting priorities across departments.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience working in a retail environment
- Intermediate knowledge of Eagle Browser
- Experience working in different departments of the store
- Intermediate knowledge of operating a POS system
- Proven written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing work environments and to shift priorities accordingly
- Familiar with how to operate a computer system and email
