Job Summary
Floor Service Tech responsible for stripping & waxing, buffing floors, grout cleaning, burnishing of floors, carpet cleaning, and related floor-care duties for commercial facilities. Role includes assisting management with daily contract-service operations, training staff, conducting quality checks, maintaining and repairing floor-care equipment, ensuring equipment and building security, and maintaining positive customer relations. Requires a valid driver’s license, insurable driving record, ability to pass fingerprint/background checks, and willingness to travel between locations (Seattle and Tacoma). Schedule includes 35-40 hours per week with Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday shifts; pay rate $25-$27 per hour. Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Fingerprints/background check
- Ability to pass city government requirements
- Must have minimum five 1 year floor care experience
- Must be physically able to perform general tasks
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to lead others in the field and train staff on proper cleaning techniques
- Must interact appropriately with customers and employees
- Must be able to pass company background check screening and city government requirements
