Job Summary
Manage all aspects of the restaurant business by inspiring a passionate team culture, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring Handbook policies are followed consistently. Direct work for employees by setting hours, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance to achieve defined goals while partnering with HR to resolve employee relations issues. Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service, professional complaint resolution, and prompt responses to inquiries via email, phone, and in-person. Oversee health code compliance, maintain financial records, and schedule maintenance services. Work a flexible weekend schedule including nights and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 years' experience working as a restaurant manager
- Exceptional management skills
- Strong understanding of customer service
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to lead, manage, and motivate a team
- Confidence and business acumen
- Ability to delegate staff effectively based on business conditions
- Organized and efficient with great attention to detail
- Exceptional guest service skills
- Collaborative and respectful presence with entire Front of House team
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to communicate clearly, with composure and enthusiasm, to customers and staff
- Willingness to work a flexible weekend schedule (Friday-Sunday) including nights and holidays
- Ability to move lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
- Ability to move lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds with assistance
- Follow appropriate procedures for serving alcohol (e.g., TIPSs (Training for Intervention Procedures))
- Analytical skills
