Job Summary
Greet guests, answer product questions, and recommend merchandise to achieve personal sales goals. Manage visual merchandising by owning product zones, executing weekly checklists, and ensuring sales floor standards. Lead the team by recruiting new teammates, coaching on sales presentation, and maintaining a positive floor culture. Complete opening and closing checklists, process point of sale transactions, and handle returns and exchanges while adhering to loss prevention guidelines. Work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related retail experience and/or training
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based upon store and business needs
- Ability to execute and teach all Point of Sale (POS) procedures
- Ability to navigate and execute all tools on the home page
- Knowledge and ability to give guidance and feedback to all non-sales positions
- Complete all scheduled shifts and cover shifts when needed
- Ability to recognize recruiting opportunities by utilizing Jobs & Careers cards, email referrals and Teammate Recommend
- Ability to execute and demonstrate all new tools and videos that apply to zone ownership
- Ability to recognize merchandising opportunities from freight to floor and life cycle of product
- Ability to execute and teach all Point of Sale (POS) procedures
