Job Summary
Greet guests with a friendly attitude, answer store and merchandise questions, and recommend products to fulfill guest needs. Maintain product knowledge, share sales and promotion updates, and consistently perform leadership actions to meet sales goals. Recruit new teammates, coach them on daily tasks and visual standards, and maintain a positive floor culture. Own product zones, execute visual checklists, and ensure the sales floor is consistently sized and displayed. Operate POS procedures, handle returns and exchanges, and follow loss prevention guidelines including bag checks. Complete opening and closing checklists, navigate store tools, and communicate policy violations or guest concerns to management. Work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related retail experience
- related training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50lbs throughout the store and backroom
- close vision

- peripheral vision
- depth perception
- ability to adjust focus
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based upon store and business needs
- Ability to execute and teach all Point of Sale (POS) procedures
- Ability to navigate and execute all tools on the home page
- Ability to recognize and assign Zones and projects to Teammates daily with a specific learning goal in mind
- Ability to execute and demonstrate all new tools and videos that apply to zone ownership
- Ability to recognize merchandising opportunities from freight to floor and life cycle of product
- Ability to give guidance and feedback to all non-sales positions
