Job Summary
Greet guests with a friendly attitude, answer store and merchandise questions, and recommend products based on guest needs. Maintain product knowledge, share current sales and promotions, and consistently share that education with the team. Achieve personal sales-per-hour, average sales, and total net sales goals while recognizing guest levels and communicating with the team. Lead by example, coach new teammates on sales presentation standards, and motivate staff to complete daily tasks. Own product zones, confirm visual standards are followed, and ensure new freight is appropriately displayed. Execute Point of Sale procedures, handle returns and exchanges, and navigate inventory tools. Recognize security risks, follow loss prevention guidelines including bag checks, and complete opening and closing checklists. Work a flexible schedule covering mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related retail experience
- related training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50lbs throughout the store and backroom
- close vision

- ability to adjust focus
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based upon store and business needs
