Job Summary
Floor Hand role on a 4–5-person well service rig crew responsible for assisting in rigging up/down, handling tubing and casing, and operating rig tools under the Rig Supervisor. Emphasis on safety, teaming with others, lifting up to 75 lbs, long hours, and ability to work in varying weather conditions; requires basic oilfield experience and a valid driver license. Local candidate preference within 60 miles of Axis El Campo, TX facility; on-site work with potential for extended hours and travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
- Basic oilfield well servicing experience
- Minimum of one (1) year rig floor operation experience
- Valid state issued driver license with acceptable MVR
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
- Ability to work varied rotational schedule and travel as job requires
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Mobility to enter confined spaces and use ladders or access devices; bend, stoop, twist, stand, squat, crawl and walk
- Lift up to 75 lbs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Able to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screens
- Team-oriented and reliable communication
