Job Summary
The Floor Hand is responsible for assisting in rigging up and down, pulling, and laying down rods, tubing, and casing while ensuring safety regulations are met. Primary responsibilities include operating rig tools and equipment, dismantling and repairing machinery, maintaining orderliness on the rig, and reporting any safety hazards. The position requires climbing, long periods of sitting and standing, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. A high school diploma/GED and a minimum of one year of rig floor operation experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or the equivalent is preferred
- A minimum of one (1) year rig floor operation experience
- Valid state issued driver license with acceptable motor vehicle records (MVR)
- Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written in English
- Must be able to work a varied rotational schedule and travel as job requires
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
- Able to clear pre-employment drug/alcohol and job-relevant screens
Desired Qualifications
- Basic oilfield well servicing experience
- Ability to interact with others in a team environment
- Basic problem solving and organizational skills
- Reliable telephone (cell phone) communication and transportation
