Job Summary
Floor Care Technician responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and beautifying floors in a healthcare, long-term care, or assisted living facility. Duties include daily floor cleaning (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming), carpet cleaning, buffing, waxing, and using floor care equipment (buffers, scrubbers, extractors). Perform routine equipment maintenance, follow safety protocols and infection-control guidelines, place safety signs to prevent hazards, and maintain inventory of supplies. Requires adherence to PPE and safety standards; collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management; report maintenance or safety issues. Preferred education is a high school diploma or equivalent; prior floor care or environmental services experience is encouraged. Required Qualifications
