Job Summary
Perform routine floor care, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing, stripping, and waxing floors throughout the long-term care facility. Clean and disinfect floors and high-traffic areas according to infection-control and facility safety standards. Operate and maintain floor-care equipment and promptly report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards. Coordinate cleaning activities around residents, staff, meals, and scheduled activities to maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. Work part-time shifts from 7:00AM to 3:00PM with weekend and holiday rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in housekeeping/laundry in a healthcare or senior living setting preferred
