Job Summary
Maintain, clean, and restore floors in a healthcare facility. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet spot cleaning, deep extraction, buffing, waxing, and stripping floors; operate floor care equipment (buffers, scrubbers, extractors); perform routine maintenance on equipment; follow facility safety protocols and infection-control guidelines; place safety signs to prevent hazards; monitor and replenish supplies; collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams; training provided; high school diploma preferred; full-time daytime schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in floor care or environmental services preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, tools, and chemicals
- Ability to operate floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, and extractors
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good communication and teamwork skills
