Job Summary
The Floor Care Specialist is responsible for performing daily routine and project floor care, including mopping, stripping, refinishing, scrubbing, burnishing, and carpet shampooing of resilient and hard floors. This role requires maintaining all assigned equipment in good repair and compliance with hospital policies. Essential skills include the ability to concentrate throughout shifts, multi-task, and communicate effectively with the health care team.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to communicate with all members of the health care team
- Independent thinking and decision-making ability
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments
- Completion of 3-6 months of on the job training to learn work routines and operation of equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Healthcare setting
- One (1) year of experience in floor care or project work
