Floor Care Specialist - Healthcare

Job Summary
Maintain and clean healthcare campus floors and related areas through dust/damp mopping, scrubbing, stripping, buffing, refinishing, carpet care (spotting, bonneting, shampooing, extracting, restorative cleaning), vacuuming, and detailed edge/vent/sprinkler cleaning. Operate floor cleaning equipment safely, coordinate procedures with other departments, observe and report maintenance needs, and follow safety procedures with cleaning chemicals. Requires willingness to learn, independence, reliability, and attention to detail while contributing to a clean, safe environment for residents. Schedule: 4PM–12:30AM with alternating weekends and holidays. Preferred HS diploma/GED and any floor care certifications or specialized training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Floor care certifications or specialized training are a plus
- Experience operating floor cleaning equipment is helpful
- Healthcare or senior living experience is beneficial but not required
- Previous floor care or housekeeping experience preferred
