Job Summary
Load and unload equipment from storage areas to vehicles and transport crew members, tools, and supplies to job sites. Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, stripping, scrubbing, coating with sealer, and burnishing. Perform carpet care by moving furniture, vacuuming, extracting, shampooing, and bonnet cleaning. Mix and use chemicals according to manufacturers' directions while ensuring all safety rules are followed and work areas remain hazard-free. Leave all areas, equipment, and vehicles clean at the end of each shift. This Full-Time position offers a wage of $18.00 - $20.50 per hour and includes Medical, Life, Dental, and Vision insurance, Paid Vacation, and Paid Sick Days. Candidates must have at least two years of experience in hard surface floor care and carpet cleaning, a valid California driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- at least one (1) year of experience
- 2 years of experience in all aspects of hard surface floor care from stripping to high-speed burnishing
- Experience in carpet cleaning
- Must have a California driver's license with a good driving record
- Must be able to pass a criminal and general background screening
- Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of the given shift
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull
- Able to do frequent kneeling, bending, and stooping
- Must be able to perform physical activities such as lifting, walking, stooping, handling, and moving objects up to 50 lbs
- Knowledge of operations of commercial floor and carpet cleaning equipment
- Required to mix and use chemicals according to manufacturers' directions
- Responsible for following and ensuring all safety rules complied with and appropriate safety equipment is used
- Ensure that work areas are maintained in a clean, uncluttered, hazard-free condition
- Leave all areas, equipment, and vehicles clean at the end of each shift
- working days/night, weekends, and holidays as required
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of marble refinishing is a plus
