Job Summary
Lead role on the production floor: oversee machine setups and production changeovers to meet customer specs, support and guide machine operators to ensure quality and safety standards, perform operator duties when needed and assist with troubleshooting, prepare the floor for each shift by ensuring machines, materials, and components are ready, lead safety and 5S initiatives to keep the work environment clean and efficient, and complete production reports with accurate records.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or its equivalent.
- Previous experience as a team leader in a manufacturing environment.
- Must pass forklift driving test and operate safely daily.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Must be able to effectively use Microsoft Excel, Word, & PowerPoint.
- Physically able to lift up to 30-40 lbs and perform job duties that involve pushing, pulling, and reaching up to 50% of the time.
