Job Summary
Universal Banker I at Nicolet National Bank delivers teller services and proactive relationship-building to drive new and existing banking relationships. Responsibilities include handling deposits/withdrawals, educating customers on digital tools, referring clients to Personal Bankers and lending specialists, meeting branch sales and referral goals, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements (BSA/AML, KYC, Reg CC, Reg E), and providing excellent customer experiences across in-person, phone, and digital channels. The role emphasizes needs-based conversations, accuracy in cash handling, fraud awareness, and collaboration with team members to support community engagement and branch operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years of cash-handling and customer-service experience required
- Strong customer-service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and strong cash-handling discipline
- Ability to identify customer needs and confidently make referrals
- Working knowledge of deposit products, digital tools, and basic banking services
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with banking systems, digital platforms, and Microsoft Office
