Job Summary
Process transactions for savings, checking, and loan accounts while opening new deposit accounts, handling stop payments, and managing wire transfers. Serve as a single point of contact for customer financial needs by identifying expectations, resolving complaints, and making referrals to expand relationships. Balance transactions daily, maintain an orderly work area, and ensure compliance with banking regulations including Regulation CC and the Bank Secrecy Act. Utilize self-service options and branch capture systems to enhance efficiency. Float to different offices in the area to accommodate staffing needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Cash handling
- sales
- customer service
- Previous banking experience preferred
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good computer skills
- ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Must be able to lift, up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time
- Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, reports, and cash denominations, and identify customers
- Travel may be required to come to meetings or training as needed
Desired Qualifications
- One year of teller or cash handling experience
- six months customer relationship building or sales experience
- Demonstrated expertise in the Teller II and basic FSR job functions
- Previous banking experience
