Job Summary
Floating Teacher to lead/assist a variety of classes for children aged 0-6 across preschool and enrichment contexts, including tools of the mind curricula, art, and STEM. You’ll adapt across curricula, support transitions and daily operations, foster confidence, coordination, and social skills, and build trust with families through daily updates. You’ll be the glue in a dynamic early childhood setting, ensuring a safe, joyful, engaging classroom environment and seamless hand-offs between activities while maintaining compliance with study plans and certification requirements. Role involves collaboration with lead teachers, supporting multiple classrooms, and engaging with families to bridge school and home.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 2+ years lead teaching experience in pre-k, camp, after school, and other enrichment for ages 0-6
- Background checks and physical exam required
