Floating Registered Pharmacist

Floating Registered Pharmacist at Hy-Vee providing prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service across multiple store locations. Responsibilities include filling/verifying prescriptions, counseling patients on OBRA ’90 regulations, assisting with inventory and controlled substances, training and coaching staff, engaging in community outreach (schools, doctors’ offices, senior centers) to market services, balancing third-party accounts, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and Quality Assurance procedures. Requires strong problem-solving, arithmetic, and communication skills, ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment, and a licensed pharmacist with ongoing continuing education and the ability to administer immunizations. Employment contingent upon successful pre-employment drug screen.
