Floating Registered Pharmacist

Floating Registered Pharmacist provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service, fills and/or verifies prescriptions and counsels patients in accordance with state and federal regulations, assists with pharmacy inventory including controlled substances, and supports the department across multiple locations. Primary duties include counseling customers, escorting to products, handling prescriptions and third-party accounts, maintaining HIPAA confidentiality, pursuing MTM and wellness programs, and covering for the pharmacy manager as needed. Requires ability to work in a fast retail environment, maintain professional appearance, and comply with security, QA, and company policies. Education and license in pharmacy with continuing education to maintain license and 6 months to 1 year of related work experience; immunization administration capability; pre-employment drug screen.
