Job Summary
Fill and verify prescriptions, counsel patients per OBRA '90 regulations, and administer immunizations while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality. Manage pharmacy operations in the manager's absence, including controlled substance inventory, third-party account reconciliation, and ordering OTC products. Coach pharmacy staff, visit schools and senior centers to market services, and build sales through wellness programs. Adhere to all safety protocols regarding hazardous drugs and report to the Pharmacy Manager. Requires pharmacy licensure, 6–12 months experience, and MTM preference.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed pharmacist
- College degree and licensure in pharmacy
- Must maintain continuing education to keep license active
- 6 months to 1 year of similar or related work experience
- Ability to administer immunizations
- Pass pre employment drug screen
