Job Summary

Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service by greeting patrons, answering phones, and assisting with product searches. Fill and verify prescriptions while counseling patients according to OBRA '90 regulations and administer immunizations. Manage pharmacy inventory, including controlled substances, by ordering, stocking, and performing annual reconciliations. Visit schools, doctors' offices, and senior centers to market services and build growth through wellness programs. Assume responsibility for the department in the manager's absence, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory procedures. Maintain confidentiality of medical information per HIPAA and acknowledge risks associated with hazardous drug handling.

Required Qualifications

College degree and licensure in pharmacy
Must have continuing education to maintain license
Six months to a year of similar or related work experience
Must be able to physically exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 10 pounds of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
Vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction
Depth perception
Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors)
