Job Summary
Floating Patient Counselor for the DFW Metroplex provides patient education on vision correction options (Lasik/Cataract), guiding prospective and existing patients from initial phone contact through consultation and potential procedures. Responsibilities include educating patients on procedures, obtaining patient history and payment information, discussing financing options, scheduling surgeries and post-op appointments, following up on online or marketing leads, working with surgeons to select the best vision correction option, using ophthalmic equipment to screen candidates, collaborating with marketing on campaigns, and traveling to nearby facilities within the DFW area. Strong communication, organizational skills, and compliance knowledge are required; bachelor’s degree and at least three years of sales/relationship management experience are preferred. Location: Dallas, TX onsite.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree desired
- Minimum of three years experience in sales/relationship management
- Previous experience in a medical environment preferred
- Willing to travel to other facilities in the DFW Metroplex area
- Bilingual a plus
