Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and maintain plant equipment including loaders, excavators, haul trucks, and dozers by testing mechanical products, replacing worn parts, and operating heavy machinery with computerized diagnostic tools. Dismantle and reassemble units using hoists and hand tools while examining components for damage with precision gauges. Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and maintenance, then schedule service and maintain equipment records. Read technical manuals, blueprints, and drawings to solve problems and stay updated on new technologies through on-the-job training. Adhere strictly to safety protocols, OSHA, and MSHA requirements including confined space entry, lock-out-tag-out, and proper PPE use. Work shifts as required while traveling primarily through Brighton, Longmont, Greeley, and Littleton.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Heavy Equipment Operator/ Mechanic experience: 2-3 years minimum
- High attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to lift/carry materials of 10-60 lbs.
- Ability to work in confined spaces without limitations
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
- Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
- Ability to work shifts as required
