Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and maintain plant equipment including loaders, excavators, haul trucks, and dozers by testing mechanical products, replacing worn parts, and dismantling machinery with hoists and hand tools. Operate and inspect heavy equipment to identify defects using computerized diagnostic tools and calibration devices, while examining components for damage with micrometers and gauges. Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning and lubrication, schedule service records, and interpret technical drawings and manuals. Adhere to strict safety protocols for confined spaces, lock-out-tag-out, and heights, working shifts as required across Denver, CO.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Heavy Equipment Operator/ Mechanic experience: 2-3 years minimum
- High attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to lift/carry materials of 10-60 lbs.
- Ability to work in confined spaces without limitations
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
- Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
