Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and maintain plant equipment including loaders, excavators, and haul trucks by testing mechanical products, replacing worn parts, and operating heavy machinery to identify defects. Dismantle and reassemble equipment using hoists and hand tools while examining components with precision instruments, and schedule maintenance to keep industrial machines operational. Analyze technical drawings and manuals to solve problems, adhering to strict safety protocols and OSHA requirements throughout the workday. Travel primarily through Brighton, Longmont, and Greeley to support the Aggregate Division in Denver.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Heavy Equipment Operator/ Mechanic experience: 2-3 years minimum
- High attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to lift/carry materials of 10-60 lbs.
- Ability to work in confined spaces without limitations
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
- Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
